REIGN OF CHRIST SUNDAY – NOVEMBER 25 We will have a more experiential and meditative worship on the traditional “Reign of Christ” Sunday. (This Sunday ends the church year and is followed by the first Sunday in Advent, beginning the new church year.) Pastor Tim has collected dozens of pictures of Jesus (as a child, Bible stories, multi-ethnic, etc.) and these will be displayed around the Sanctuary. There will be a guided meditation and a time to experience the various pictures. Come and “meet Jesus again for the first time.”

Sunday Dinners Hosting

Responding to the local issue of homelessness, Ballard churches are hosting a free 5:00 pm Sunday evening meal each week at Ballard First Lutheran Church. We prepare and serve a meal together with Northwest Christian Church the first Sunday of each month. One team shops, cooks, sets up the space and serves and the second team hosts / eats with the guests and cleans up. Another church has asked to switch a Sunday. So on November 25 we are working the 2nd – 5:00 to 7:30 pm. Like to volunteer? Contact Chris Knutsen. We are not responsible for a Sunday Dinner in December. Other participants are Amazing Grace Spiritual Center, Ballard First Lutheran Church, Our Redeemer’s Lutheran Church, and Sustainable Ballard.
